measure your wrist at its smallest point, with a soft tape measure, do not pull it tight. Your best fit for a chain bracelet is one that measures 1.75-2” longer than your measurement so that the bracelet fits comfortably and is easy to put on yourself

these pieces are meant to be adjustable, they are made from thick solid metal ~ while they can be gently / slightly pulled apart and squeezed shut to fit, I don’t recommend stretching them completely open, just enough to squeeze on over the smallest part of your wrist. Once on the wrist you can squeeze the sides in to close the piece onto your wrist

sterling silver ~
all of my silver jewelry is made from solid recycled sterling silver which is 92.5% silver with 7.5% copper for strength and durability. This material is durable yet malleable, be careful not to stretch the bracelet too wide open to avoid misshaping. The oils in our skin while wearing silver tend to keep the metal shiny and bright. Sweat, chlorine, salt water may cause oxidation over time, so keep clean with soap and water, wipe dry when wet. I wear my silver bracelets 24/7, showering in your everyday jewelry keeps it clean!

brass ~ 
the brass material is very tough, much more so than the silver. It may feel difficult to squeeze closed, so try not to open too much to put on. Jeweler’s brass is 85% Copper and 25% Zinc which gives the gold color. There is no nickel, aluminum, or anything yucky in this metal. There is no plating or coating, brass can be kept shiny by keeping it clean. Wash with soap and water when hand washing, showering, dry off when wet. Avoid lotions or perfumes drying on the surface. If you wear it in the pool or ocean, just rinse or dry off. If tarnishing occurs, baking soda and vinegar can shine it back up. Feel free to reach out if you need help cleaning your brass. It looks like 18k gold for a fraction of the price ~ just requires a lil care

general metal care ~
all metals I work with are pure, can be worn in the shower / hand washing. I don't recommend wearing any jewelry in chlorine, and be cautious with salt water as well. If you do jump in the water with jewelry on, just rinse / dry it off. Salt water, chlorine, lotion, perfume can dry on the metal leaving stains behind, but never worry, you can always polish back to shiny. Sweat can cause silver to blacken and brass to turn quicker, so try to soap up / dry off extra on those hot humid days. Use a polishing cloth to shine and remove tarnish, keep in a pouch or jewelry box out of open air when not worn for long periods of time.

stone care ~
I work with a variety of beautiful natural stones, some require more care than others. Turquoise, Variscite, and Opals can absorb liquids, so it is best to avoid wearing in the ocean, swimming pools, prolonged soaking in any water. Many of the Turquoise I work with are stabilized, which means they have been hard pressed with resin to protect their color and structure. These stones are less likely to change color after contact with salt water, water wear in general. However, it is never recommended to wear jewelry in chlorine. Natural Turquoise and Variscite that have not been treated should not be worn while showering or swimming. Hand washing is okay, wipe the stone dry after and avoid getting soap or lotion on the gem. Moonstones, Labradorites, Lapis, Pearls, are not absorbent, but may scratch if worn while doing work with your hands that could strike the ring. In my personal collection, I have natural and stabilized Turquoise, I have tested them in many elements. Do not be afraid of wearing natural stones - some of my most delicate stones I have worn a lllotttt, and they are just fine. There may be slight color change over time, especially if you are in a humid climate. But I think that is okay, I have a beautiful natural Turquoise pendant that I have accidentally worn in various bodies of water (never chlorine though!!) and it has taken on a gorgeous pattern, I like it even more now. These are natural pieces of earth that come from underground, it's a harsh world up here, remember that :)

ring sizing + fit ~
my rings with stones have a unique shape that allow extra room for comfort without slipping off over the knuckle, each ring can be different depending on the stone shape. Smaller stones tend to fit more traditionally, whereas really wide stones create a very unique fit with a bit more negative space on the sides. Our fingers are always changing size due to a number of factors. My rings are designed to fit a range of sizes, the unique shape allows room for swelling. No one likes a tight ring! Customers that typically don’t wear regular rings because of discomfort (or fear of the ring getting stuck on their finger) love the fit of my rings. Please order according to your ring size, and understand that because of the unique shape, sizing is approximate.
